I read elsewhere on this forum that the use of ethanol can improve yields when extracting from acacias.
Does anyone know if ethanol containing denaturants,(specifically Denatoium Bensonate and Methyl Isobutyl Ketone) would be suitable to use within an A/B extraction? or could the properties of those additives react with certain acids and or carry something over into the final product?
I know vodka could be used but at $40 for a 700ml bottle I figure 5L of industrial grade ethanol for the same price would be better value for money.
Thanks
