It looks like a layer of crystals and then has a bit of the solution that the naphtha floats to the top of and I was wondering what I should do.. separate it or put it all together and freeze precipitate it?

I think it might just be fats or something along those lines so I was either going to separerate then and freeze them separately and if one freezes lot something then I was just going to thaw it add it back to the original soup/solution and then just repulsive it with the naphtha or something along those lines...

Does this make sense or can anybody shed some light on this topic for me, because I would really appreciate it thanks!
