Hi everyone, I have some doubts regarding the extraction I did, my fear is that I end up vaporizing lye.

A / B method

Water + 200G of Mimosa hostilis Benth + citric acid, left the solution for 5 days, pH 2.5, shaking wherever possible.

After the period, I added the same amount of salt that I used from the root, 200g.

After adding salt I used about 40g of lye to raise the pH to 11.8, I let it rest for 24 hours.

I made the pulls with Hexano, 5 pulls of 60 ml each.

24 hours in the refrigerator, 24 hours in the freezer.

The result is that of the images, seems right?

apart from the coloration of the first pic it looks fine, but that is hard to tell from the pics, if you are not sure, just do a re-x

As far as you freeze-precipitated and weren't sloppy with non-polar separation, I would say you should be ok. In case of any doubts, alternative to re-x is sodium carbonate wash.
You can taste the result. If you know how dmt tastes, you can compare. Lye has different taste.

Lye is very caustic, if there was lye in your product you shouldn't be putting it in your tongue. Also DMT itself feels like burning the tongue, might be misleading to judge by that.
