I am sure its been posted, but I tried to search and couldnt find what i am looking for.

I am curious (roughly) how much a large, mature, 50yr old Acacia confusa would yield in dried root bark? and how about trunk bark? how does that compare to Mimosa, or other Acacias? and then what about 20 year old trees, same questions? Which is more common to chop down on the Islands? how hard is it to process, and how much time does it take, to separate bark from wood, and separate outer from inner? im really mostly curious about mature confusa yields on HI. i know folks who chop trees there for a living, and am just curious what the work looks like from their perspective, and how it adds up and pays out in the end.
Also might be nice (or scary) to find out what fraction of, or how many whole individual trees have gone down to manifest the dreams.
I know that there are probably tons of variables at play, but theres gotta be some ballpark figures.

anyone care to share details???

Thanks!
