My first trip dmt trip. A blue being? Options

I had my first experience yesterday morning, and then again last night.

The first trip was so crazy. I was going through, and all the colours were changing and then melting... Since this was my first time I had no clue what to expect.

I have a popcorn ceiling and couldn't take my eyes off it. Once I.... I guess I broke through? Once that happened, it appeared. First it looked like the Pokemon Giratina, then morphed to an Egyptian god, then into an ultimate blue being. No features, just all... Everything. I couldn't stop crying in awe of the being. It didn't speak to me or anything but it was there, it's all its... Being-ness....

I've read about the jesters, and the machine elves. My wife saw the folding people.

This was such an intense and deep thing... I'm so thankful..

How do I go deeper? Do I close my eyes? Do I stay awake?

When it comes do "going deeper", obviously dose affects the experience a lot. Other than that, I have found many things that allow me to go deeper at lower dosages. Many of these are classic set and setting, avoid alcohol and caffeine (and maybe also nicotine) and other drugs that are not "synergistic" with DMT, for at least a few days, but for alcohol I find a week or more is needed to not be restrained by its residual effects.

I find the experiences last longer and are more intense when there is only ambient instrumental music or no music at all, and when the general atmosphere is peaceful and calm. Feeling physically healthy also affects how deep I can go, for example a cold has completely prevented me from a breakthrough before, even at huge doses. Feeling comfortable, both with temperature and otherwise, can also be important. Lay comfortably in a recliner or couch so that you can smoke from the sitting position and simply hand off the pipe and lean back. Then one can only close the eyes and pay attention Big grin
Intensity increases exponentially until you reach the I of the storm.

Thank you! I didn't know there'd be such an impact from other things like caffeine and alcohol.

So you close your eyes? How? I felt like I was missing something if my eyes were closed.

Is that because the dose wasn't high enough? Are you forced to close your eyes at higher doses?

Mostly I close my eyes, sometimes I do not. Most times I close them because my journey is inward. Do you want to get caught up with how cool the ceiling fan looks now? Keep them open. If you want to explore deeper truths and come to grips with a reality that you may not yet be aware of? Close your eyes.
I realize that no one book, one person, or even one ideology will have all the answers. I believe my job is to remain open yet discriminating. My intuition helps me discern truth, and wisdom helps me identify malicious intentions.

Sometimes my eyes close, sometimes not. Sometimes this is a result of choice, sometimes not.

With large doses, my eyes almost always close automatically, while in medium to low doses, I have to more consciously choose to close my eyes, as it doesn't always feel that natural to do so. It can be interesting to also consciously hold one's eyes opened, and just see reality cease to exist in any familiar sense, replaced by an alien underlying reality.

When with open eyes and looking around the room, objects often seem to contain/be spirits or "small" awarenesses or seem to be entities in a dream-character like sense. Blasting off on medium doses after having had a drink or two can be cool for OEVs, the alcohol makes it easier to keep the eyes open (though also it can prevent the experience from getting more than shallow in some cases).

Overall, the experiences with closed eyes have been the more meaningful and deep ones, while those with open eyes have been more recreational in smaller doses and more terrifying bordering on delirious in a few cases with large doses and open eyes (it was also not a good set and setting at that time, so it wasn't the open eyes causing it per se, just that the stress prevented me from closing my eyes in the first place, and seeing the room imploding in impossible spatial dimensions while having no memory nor an experience of time was a bit distressing).

I am a bit stoned, I think it took over an hour to write this, hope there is some coherency and meaning in the text, and that I actually answered the question Rolling eyes

Thank you, I want this to be more spiritual so I will take your advise on getting deeper trips. Thank you
