Hey folks

When trying the joshisom's tek Arcacia Confusa extraction, the crystals didnt grow in a seperate jar after pulling out the naphtha. We repeated this step some times without success and always poured it back in the main jar. After long waiting and brainstorming, crystals did grow on the bottom of the naphtha layer on the lye in the main jar.

Is there a way to get it out safely without the lye?

try to resolve it didnt worked (when shaking cold)

i tried to pull it out in a coffee filter with some lye and pour some of the naphtha over it.
But the crystals have a brown yellow touch. so i am unsure if this is the best method.

I think your friend here is heat!

Heat the extraction vessel for maybe an hour then pull with new naphta and try the freezer this time!

So i tried it again, heating it up and shaking it for a hour.
I pulled it out and leaved it in the freezer for like 2 days.
But the result was again only some gooey layer. Do i need to wait longer ?

of course, in the mixing vessel are some crystals in the very small naphtha layer which i didnt sucked up..

Maybe i should wait longer
Or do the crystals need another surface for building ?
