Can anybody tell SWIM how much DMT is in the phragmites? SWIM know there is not much. Is it safe to assume Phragmites contains about the same amount of DMT as Phalaris Arundinaceea ?

If so, SWIM made a simple calculation: Marsofold's tek uses mimosa hostilis which contains around 0.6% dmt. And from ~400 grams of MHRB , says it gets around 2000-2500 mg DMT.
Now: If phragmites contains about 0.05% (which is the amount Phalaris Arundinaceea contains), this means that phragmites
contains about 6 times less DMT than MHRB. Right ? (0.6% vs 0.05%)
Now, assuming SWIM will use the same amount of plant material (400gr) but phragmites instead of MHRB, means
that he could expect to obtain around 2000 mg divided by 12. Even if phragmites contains let's say 20 times less DMT,
2000 / 20 still should result in about 100mg DMT, which would satisfy SWIM. Yes, SWIM knows that phragmites contains also 5-meo-dmt but, considering that SWIM never experienced any kind of DMT, this would not bother SWIM.
Is the above calculation flawed ?

Second question: SWIM has no crockpot, but will be doing the extraction at home in his personal apartment, and he has a normal, classic gas-oven (i hope it's the right term) in the kitchen (it is like this one: http://www.gorenje.co.uk...d0ec6c4bb56_67929_fp.jpg ) ... How should he proceed ? Should he cook the phragmites IN the oven, where one makes cookies, or above it where there is direct flame contact with the recipient ? IS it ok to cook it above the oven in a inox recipient put under direct flame at minimal power?

Sorry, no experience with phragmites but I'll help where possible.

Your calculations look reasonable ( 0.05% of 400 grams is 200 milligrams )

Your stove top is good for performing an acid cook using an ( inox? ) stainless steel pot.

W A R N I N G

Do NOT use an open flame near any solvents ( i.e. naphtha, heptane, pentane, xylene, toluene, acetone, strong alcohols, et cetera )

This will produce an far too exiting incendiary event and draw unexpected attention and/or death
