I'm so hoping that your wrong... i.e. that this is not simply a pup. My experience has generally been that cacti this size do not pup from the apex, but rather from the sides. Suffice it to say my wanting it to be special can't make it special in the manner I wish for it to be.... but boy do I want it bad. Time will tell. It looks... mammilate... Interesting. “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

Do you think it will be cristate, or some new kind of monstrose form?(!!) “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'.
