Heres the most important video you'll ever watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QA2rkpBSYwhat are your thoughts? Sir Terrence McKenna: "and what is real: is you, and your friends, and your associations, your highs, your orgasms your hopes your plans your fears... and were told. no. we're unimportant, we're peripherial. get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that. and then your a player, (but) you dont even want to play that game? (well) you want to re-claim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers: who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash thats being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world. ¿where is that at?"
"But now technology throws a curve. and the curve is that we live so long, that we figure out what a scam this is. we figure out that what your supposed to work for isn't worth having, we figure out that our politicians are buffoons, we figure out that professional scientists are reputation building gravitating weasels. we discover that all organizations are corrupted by ambition. we figure. it. out... and as you come to see that you are alienated you realise that culture is not your friend."

To me its amazing more people are not aware of the ramifications already of the increasing population of the earth and the energy output that will be required to support it. I have not watched entire vid yet but it is interesting and it is some thing we need to consider as a society. We are becoming more efficient but no were near what will be required efficiency if we do not make some big discoveries in the next two or three generations. Increasing population and enegery usage are the greatest threat to human existence. Some say we may be heating up the earth with our energy usage by 2050 by this I do not mean Global Warming but simply the heat generated by human energy consumption. Like that hot battery in your/my laptop right now. PEACE MV

One day we will consume the resources on this earth that make it liveable for human beings. This is unavoidable with mass population reduction, which I am certainly not if favor of. Maybe if we get fusion energy to work out, we can lower or oil and coal consumption to almost nothing. You lock the door, and throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me

. . Silicone is in abundance on this planet and it turns solar radiation into energy that would otherwise be turning into heat, heat that you would in fact otherwise be trying to cool with air conditioning. The sun gives this planet all it will ever need(Just ask a farmer). We simply need to take advantage of it. A young indian man just invented solar panels that are made from HUMAN HAIR! Melanin, the pigment in our skin and hair and eyes has the ability to transform U.V. light into electricity. The universe is abundant. Don't be fooled by the dollar trick. Peace, J . . any instructions how an average person like you and me can make something out of this, then? I mean, my hair grows quick... but yeah in any case, definitely a lot of the problem we are having is not simply due to the lack of resources, but a lot because of bad administration/spenditure/distribution of the available resources! If we were to measure how much energy is wasted in stand-by mode appliances, general wasteful behavior, as well as for example the energy necessary for industrial production of things that are actually being thrown out in some other industry (what for one industry or population may be garbage/waste, for another it could be an essential primary product, but there is very little organization between different industries) Im all for sustainable research, Im sure a lot more could be done! We need more people working on this stuff

It's just weird that the smartest minds have been talking about it for years, but none of the real movers and shakers seem to want to care.
Aldous Huxley's "Brave new world: Revisited" is a genius but immesnley sad comparison of his world of fiction to the world we live in now. Everyday the definition between the two is melting in the middle. Overpopulation is what scares me the most. We're literally multiplying are own troubles.

Very few people want to see the BIG picture or as I call it TRUTH. They just want to look at themselves in the mirror. As long as one is dependent upon society it makes it difficult to change. In order to not be dependent it often means on must break the law in a peaceful way that harms no one. This allows one to interact with out dependence and implement change for the better. I could go on but will not. PEACE MV WTF IS THE LAW
