Hey a friend of mine has had a STB extraction sitting for around a month. It's basically a bucket with around 2kg of bark in it and around 4L of basified water. (btw friend said stb works fine on acacia bark, just have to clean the pulls)

Anyway, my friend says most of goodies have been pulled from this extraction, so he is planning another one. He was wondering if he could strain out the bark, and re-use the basified water for maximum efficiency? Friend says he doesn't see why this would be a problem?

What do you guys think?

Meh, throw it away. Straining a STB solution, with all the massive doses of lye in it sounds too troublesome and dangerous.

I just pour and restart fresh.

i would restart fresh, what little DMT is there isnt worth trying to recover and therse probably some plant fats and lipids ni the solution which would add to what may be in the fresh rootbark
