I could use some info. Attached are pics of some alleged ACRB that is shredded rather than powdered. I have no experience with this plant in the wild and am wondering if it is as represented. Extractions from this have yielded on the low end, around 1%, but definitely have yields.

Sorry for the pic quality, I hope you can see what appears to be OUTER bark on the one side of the piece.

Are there any sure,hard and fast rules for identifying inner as opposed to outer bark from acacia confusa? Is there a layer between the two...?

At top is a horrible pic of the outer convex surface and the lower pic another of the concave,or inside surface.
