Just a quick question. Will 'Instant Power Crystal Lye Drain Opener 100% Lye' be ok?

If not, what are speks for lye, other than 100% ?

The MSDS says it is 100% lye so it should be okay to use. Always consult the safety data sheet. When it isn't available online, you can always contact the manufacturer and request one:

Be sure to search through the forum for more details about lye. There are mountains of information to be had here at the Nexus (especially about lye) just one google search away!

Ok thanks. And what am I looking for specifically within the MSDS? Probably a stupid question, I know, but I'm strting from scratch and need all the badics covered. I'm gonna do much more research on lye n naptha, im just ready to purchase and want to ensure I know how to be certain of what I'm getting and doing.
