working on kash's LSA tek, and wondering if toluene would work for extracting LSA when the water layer is basified with some ammonia, kash's tek calls for it but read on many forums that dcm works better with ammonia A/B's. my pH will only be at about 8.5-9.5.

I've done this in the past with dcm, and got crystals, just wondering if toluene would work as well. I have no dcm either.
