swims first attempt at extraction, did cybs salt tek, did 5 pulls naphtha was milky white on all 5, after the freeze; poured all the naphtha into a small 300ml relish jar. the 5 Pyrex dishes had little to no crystals and of course swim was sad. swim then looked at the relish jar and it was like a snow globe, swim put all that was in the jar into a dish and froze again for 22 hours. new dish had more cyrstals before but disappeared while it was out drying. the jar is still an amazing snow globe. how can swim get it out of this jar with a bit less than 250ml naphtha in it? swim is sad and doesn't want to loose hope. any help and advise would really be awesome. I can ussually turn a bad trip into somthing positive and take somthing from it and learn. Why is that so diffrent from waking life for me?

I literally just overcame this problem. I posted earlier that I couldn't figure out how to get the crystals to stick to the bottom of the pan. The crystals were stuck in suspension, "snowglobe" in your terms. Here was my solution: Pour off the naptha from the jar into another jar (for storing to use later). The trick lies in the pouring itself. The crystals are quite heavy and large. If you do it right, the crystals will stay on the side of the jar, but the naptha will pour out. When you pour it, do it in literally the slowest way possible. I'm talking tortoise who just smoked some ganja. The smaller the horizon of the pouring, the more crystals will stay. Some of the smaller crystals will inevitably stay in the naptha, but they are so small it won't matter. You are also using the naptha again, so it will accumulate later on. Hope it works!

I was unsure based off what you said, but, Were your initial naptha pulls warm? Is it milky at room temp, or just in the freezer? You may need to evap some of the naptha, then put in the freezer again. Sometimes it takes a couple days for all of the milky white solution to clear up and for the material to drop out. It usually works better if you cool it down slowly. This might not be practical, but others have had good results by placing the naptha pulls in an unplugged freezer, then plugging it in, forcing the chilling to be slower. This promotes larger crystal growth. Another thing you can try is to take a glass rod and scratch the inside of the jar you are using for crystallization. This creates nucleation sites that the crystals will attach to, attracting more crystals to grow in the same location. Don't remove the naptha from the freezer until you there are no more precipitates in it. It may still be yellow, but it should be translucent before you decant. You will see the goodies precipitated on the side of the jar or they will have settled on the bottom. I also do ACRB due to availability issues. A better option would be to heat the whole naptha solution in a double boil to put the alkaloids back in solution. Then transfer the pulls while still hot to a pan and freeze precip. Drain off the naptha and scrape up all the goo. After you get the goo together, do a re-x. and then follow the steps I set out in my previous comment. Hope it works!

hey wow thanks guys! really appreciate the help and advise swim will try and see, he wont beable to unplug the freezer or put it in the fridge. the initial pulls were warm then straight to the freezer, theres no yellow what so ever only milky white, and whats in the relish jar is clear/milky white with alot of crystals. when it was pulled milky white and after freeze and poured in the jar milky white. Okay so what swim did was transfered naphtha from one jar to anothrr using an eye dropper intill there was a small amount with all the crystals. Then warmed the jar up and poured it back into a pyrrx dish with syeran wrap and a lid back into the freezer. It sounds like you just need to evaporate off some of the naphtha before you put it in the freezer. Sometimes the spice stays suspended in the solvent. Just pour it through a coffee filter if it still doesn't stick to the container after evaporating off the some of the solvent and you'll get most if not all of your spice. The struggle to free myself of restraints becomes my very shackles.

So just let the dish sit out for a bit before putting in the freezer? About how long would you think would be okay. Or would that just be indefinite since it would only be naphtha evaporating and the dmt would be left behind I can ussually turn a bad trip into somthing positive and take somthing from it and learn.
