Quick Changa/Enhanced Leaf question Options

Hi, swim has a question on Changa/EL. I looked around for the answer but I could not find anything solid.

Swim read that Changa is an amazing way to smoke to spice. Swim read that it does not hit as quick as freebase DMT and is more easier and mellow, and lasts a bit longer.

So the question is, is enhanced leaf without harmala, for example, mixing 1:1 DMT freebase with peppermint or passionflower the same as proper harmala changa? Will it still be mellow with an easier to handle blast off?

Also, swim read that passionflower contains MAOI. Will a 1:1 with passionflower be any good? Will it still be like smoking freebase or will it be closer to change as in not as overwhelming?

What you heard about changa is true. It comes on a bit slower, lasts longer and gives a more grounded experience. Good for trying out lower doses. At higher doses it can be as intense and overwhelming as straight freebase.

Enhanced leaf is just a convenient way to smoke dmt without using special equipment or techniques. Some people say the addition of certain herbs affects the experience but this could be because they alter the speed and temperature of vapourisation.

The only herbs which could cause the 'changa effect' are those containing harmala alkaloids, ie. caapi leaf or vine, syrian rue, passionflower. In their natural states, these only contain small amounts of alkaloids, but some people report noticeable effects from smoking them, especially caapi. Passionflower is the weakest of the three.

To really experience the harmala/dmt synergy, I think it's best to extract harmalas and combine with extracted dmt on a carrier herb of your choice.

Btw there's loads of information on this site about changa and harmalas. Have fun.

Thank you.

So even if I mix DMT with Syrian rue, passionflower, or peppermint, will it still blast me off like freebase? Or will I be able to get in more hits before it hits me?

I think he's suggesting that, given those three options you should extract the rue and then make "traditional" changa using the other two plants you mentioned for a true changa experience. Syrian rue is usually a seed anyways so I don't think you want them popping in your pipe.

For the record, if you make a concentrated tea of syrian rue seeds and then filter it until you get bored filtering it, and then filter it two more times, you can then put some soda solution in it and the alkaloids fall right out. Filter that and spread it out on a plate to dry under a fan. I think that's the gist of it once you read all those extract teks. I may be wrong.

Then you just make changa in a shot glass or wasabi dish and you're good to go.

Also, if you have one laying around (so you don't have to buy stuff) try a decent vape mod. There is something about using e-juice that delays the onset of effects, you'll get your extra hits that way. If you don't have one already handy then there are probably better options available to you from what I've read. But that will without a doubt work.
