Snot-like substance formed during freeze precip Options

I checked my freezer this morning after completing an extraction with the last of my acrb yesterday and found a snot-like substance had formed and was floating around in the solution. It looks very different than any of my other extractions and I am curious if anyone has had/seen this happen before and could shed some light on what it is. It moves around with the same consistency as phlegm when you spit it in the toilet.

I followed a different version of Cyb's tek this time using his Max Ion tek, which calls for a longer acid cook and a defat stage prior to the basification stage that involves adding naphtha after the acid boil and pulling that out, thus removing any unwanted fats/other plant material. Other than that I extracted the same as I always have but this end result so far is just so weird to me. It's only been in the freezer for about 8-9 hours now so maybe I just haven't checked it this early before and this is normal?

I don't think it's normal due to the low waiting time.
Never seen anything like this.

Was your solvent kept in good condition? I would like to try to consider that could have come out of some sort of "contaminated" solvent, not out of the plant.

The solvent should be fine, its brand new I had just ordered it online a few weeks ago as I ran out of my last supply. Im going to let it sit in the freezer for the rest of the day and decant it when I get off work later tonight. Will report back with the consistency and how it looks after drying.

I've had something similar happen to me once.
It turned out to be a little pocket of dmt or something. Idk because it formed into some snowflakes and I smoked that shit haha. Mine happened with used naphtha though...perhaps just the plant fats that got left in it?

So after drying the final product after decanting it ended up being a big clump of goo, which was most of my yield with a small amount of crystals. I'm glad that was the last of my acrb, I can't wait to try mhrb, acacia is just such a pain for me to produce quality product. I just consistently get goo which I'm not too upset about, its just the difficulty of weighing and handling the goo that is a little frustrating but it still works just fine when vaped.

Haven't used acrb, only mhrb. My pic was mhrb, stuff is really easy to work with and the results are beautiful

i usually can coax crystals from ACRB if I am patient. Spread it scrape into a ball spread again, scrape dry repeat. Takes a week or so. I feel like its better to do that because i feel like the goo can trap some solvent and the smell gets better over time.
MHRB is a more sustainable root if the people harvesting are decent people. Acacia is easy to kill. We are what we feed ourselves with...
Marijuana, LSD, psilocybin, and DMT they all changed the way I see

I might try this with the goo I've extracted, seems worth a try I mean right now its just sitting in the freezer so its easier for me to handle and if it doesn't work Im left with goo again.
