hi everyone,

so i have a container i used to keep my spice in, whenever i did an extraction i just put the results in there.
it was all from the same MHRB so i figured this is no problem.
but lately i noticed that it seems like it was not as effective any more.
i was worried that maybe hyperspace is closed for me - as so many others report.

i have not done a extraction in some time and just started again,
so i did a comparison with the 2 different batches i got. both still from the same MHRB
the old one first as i was worried i might screw up the 2nd batch with some kind of tolerance still left.

50mg of my old stash
the effects where there, but the uplifting aspects and the immersive experience was missing.
it was very similar to the times i smoked weed and then spice. This always fill kind of dull to me.

with 2.5 hours in test runs, i just did the new batch, only a small dose about 20mg in my wooden VG
i was not even close to a breakthrough but it was quantities better then the bigger dose of the old batch.
it was very uplifting, way more light and coelenterate (i like to smoke in bright sun lit rooms)

could this be the result of potency loss?
what would you do with the old batch? - should i re-ex it ?

edit:
I just noticed that the uplifting afterglow effects are way more intense Very happy

Did you store it in the fridge? Or at room temperature? Also, how are the chances that you are imagining the uplifting quality difference as (being) related to the batch rather then to vaping, set and setting (mood of the moment or ''other'' )?

Each pull is different imo. I usually throw them all together and mix them up for a more "median" dmt experience.

i store them at room temp in a seald flask

i know what you mean with imagining the uplifting effect, but it was a profound difference.

I have noticed the same effect from spice that has sat around at room temperature for a while. Even in a sealed container, the small amount of oxygen/moisture sealed in with it can easily react with it. If you can purge the container with CO2, nitrogen, argon, or any other inert gas, that effect will be negated but I find the freezer to be very effective at keeping it from oxidizing or at least in slowing it down to the point that it is inconsequential.

And yes re-x will help a lot.

I dont know.. had "some" spice open to dust, air, light, heat and cold for two years... vaped it and it was working just fine but just way to much oxide for my taste... Did a zinc reduction / re-x and now its the best dmt i've ever had in the last 2,5 years.

Maybe it's because you took a small dose. For me small doses are very euphoric.
