Hi C_B_4Life & Welcome to these forums! I'm not familiar with the vegetation in Israel, or in the ME at large, but I wanted to point you towards this page in the Nexus Wiki that contains an overview of DMT-containing plants, that would be a place to start researching: https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...MT#Plants_containing_DMTI found a link on ayahuasca in Israel and it mentions Phalaris and Acacia as sources, and I presume they mean sources that would grow in Israeli climate: http://www.a-keys.nl/ayahuasca/israel.htmlpeace

Hiya, Can you promise to report back with your findings? "Learn, Share, Expand" are fundamental concepts of the DMT Nexus. The Acacias from the Middle East need more work. It would be wonderful to have some firsthand accounts of which truly contain DMT. So here you go, thank nen888 for this list: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...&m=398682#post398682And please remember, be kind to the trees. Most of them have DMT in the leaves so there's absolutely no need to take bark. Also, you may be interested in analytical methods that could help identify DMT in plants.Happy Learning & Sharing, Wap + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- DMT Nexus Research ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- + ---- +

Hi! Very interesting question, I am doing similar research as soon as I am investigating about DMT usage in jewish traditional misticism. From times of Moses it may have been practiced use of DMT to get in touch with God(s). Another interesting herbals trditionally used in rituals (by sure) in that area is Syrian Rue, a quite powerful MAO inibitor.. so.. it is a simply and evident addition, no? There are many evidence of use of some kind of Acacia in Israel for example in Free Masonry (that is supposed to have had access to jewish secrets heredited from Templars knights) the symbolically killed master is buried under some acacia branches.. singular no? I suppose the Acacia used is Acacia Albida. Eventually Acacia Tortilis. Other varieties in Israel have not been reported to contain DMT. Andrea

OP, I am curious to know if you found out about DMT after researching esphand/wildraw/syrian rue?
Look in to your customs regulations against plant materials. If nothing then make the trip to The Netherlands or Peru.

Quote:. Rami Sajdi has been studying the Bedouin Shamans among theNomadic Bedouins of South Jordan for many years. His studies of certainShamanic/Spirit Desert Plants provided him with a deep understanding of an ancient spiritual science that had been used in rituals and medicinal practices by many ancient cultures.
The Consciousness & Shepherd’s Wild Food Diet
Rami's ethnobotanical investigation was key in identifying the roll of some plants that has have been mentioned in the Bible, such as the Acacia tree that has been associated with The Midianites. The Acacia tree is source of dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a molecule found in nearly every living organism and considered the most potent mind altering plant substance on Earth, and similar to the Ayahuasca brew used as a traditional spiritual medicine in ceremonies among the Indigenous peoples of Amazonia. The ancient tradition of Arabia suggests that the Arabs had their owen brew that was associated with the goddess or deity Al- Uzza (Hebrew 'Asherah) and the Acacia tree.
Another important plant that was identified in the investigation was the Balsam Plant. The Balsam Plant white milky sap ''Liquid Myrrh'' was a main ingredient for the anointing oil that Moses was asked to prepare before the tent of the meeting, in the late bronze age at the same time The Edomities where inhabiting the region of south Jordan. The balsam plant also appeared in around 300B.C along with the stories of Cleopetra and the The Nabateans of Petra. And it seems that the same plant was also associated with the Nomadic mother-goddess who was mistress of the shepherds and his altered state of consciousness which seems to arose at the time of animal domestication, shepherding, cheese making and Copper & Iron smelting. From acacia land. If you keep reading into the site he explains his theory on how they combined acacia and Syrian rue to make an ayahuasca like brew. You have never been apart from me.
