I wanted to make my first post sincere and great but I have a huge concern and needed some guidance.

I'm on my second and what seems to be a successful extraction. I used the ATB method with MHRB as my first extraction was STB. This go around I used Cybs ATB salt extract. Following all the steps exact I just pulled close to 1g of goodness out of the freezer. The problems lies of when I tested it.

I placed the usual amount on top of some ashes for a none break through dose. First hit was long and slow. I started feeling peculiar as always. Second toke I started feeling this weird vibration all over. My ears started ringing and immediately didn't like any of it. The closed eye visuals were as usual but very fast and almost threatening. The feeling was also uncomfortable. The taste on my tongue seemed salty. The whole experience was less than desirable. I'm worried about what is in this batch.

My first extraction was a huge success and nothing like this occurred. So my question is, did I just get the DMT slap? Do you think I should re-ex it? Did I extract something other than nn DMT? It freaked me out enough I don't want to try anymore till I can figure this out.

Did you perform the tek EXACTLY? If you made any change let us know.

I take it you don't have aCcess to a reagent test kit?

Not sure about your issue but Concern is warranted. Could any solvent be left behind? Did you evap Or freeze? Are you positive yiu had mimosa?

I followed the tek exactly, even let it freeze precept a little longer than called for. I let it dry in front of the fan for about an hour. I used powdered MHRB, distilled water, 99% lye, distilled white vinegar, naphtha and unionized salt. All my utensils were cleaned and dried as well. I've used this vender on the previous extract so I'm fairly positive it's not the problem.... however my last extract was with shredded MHRB and not the powder I received this time. When I extracted this tek the naphtha was clear on the first three pulls so I put the fourth round of naps in and left it over night. I got worried so I started another batch with STB which will be coming out soon.

I did have a slight headache before I tried it but don't know if that would be a factor. Can adulterants be put it mimosa when it is powdered? Do you think a re-ex would hurt? I probably just answered my own question. I'm just bummed that this last experience got me shaken up enough that I'm scared to try this particular batch again.

The effects described sounds just like DMT to me. I find vaporized DMT can often be uncomfortable, too fast to make sense of and even annoying. Other times it can go differently and be quite profound. DO not assume that because the effect is not the same as previous trips that your DMT in contaminated. Even the ringing in the ears is something I have experienced numerous times and I don't enjoy it either. This is different from the carrier wave effect.

I know that my gf really does not like to smoke DMT at all. Every time she does it is just so fast and the body load makes her uncomfortable and the visions seem to be a rush of nonsense that fades too quick to hold any usefulness to her so she feels high dose mushrooms or LSD to have a much more profound lasting effect on her.

I still smoke DMT and maybe I will continue to do so for the rest of my life..or maybe not. I find that it is less and less appealing to me and I lean towards other oral psychedelics more at the moment, after a number of years of frequent DMT use.

That's the first time I had an experience like this with DMT and the first time i have heard another traveler mention anything about a similar effect. I love all my phsycodelics and I felt fine after the effects wore off. The ringing and body vibrations was just to overpowering to enjoy any of it.

I'm wondering if the ATB extract I did made the powdered crystals I have more potent by volume than I'm used to with STB? Reading through the ATB tek with salt being the key ingredient to actually push the alkaloids out of the mud faster is what made me curious to try it. Most things I have read about with high doses just make people not remember the experience.

I'm gonna extract this STB and test drive it. I'll report back with results and pics.

Re reading your post, op, it does sound like dmt. I've just never experienced ringing ears our headache nor a salty taste.

Dont see how a rex Could hurt, if only to assuage fears?

Well I re-ex'd my ATB batch. It's in the fridge now then freezer.

I just tried the STB batch and it wasn't very potent or something. Still has that funky salt taste in my mouth and the visuals were switching fast and chaotic.... no fluid flowing patterns. So I've come to a couple conclusions. Either it's me and/or my body just reacting differently now to DMT, my powdered MHRB, or my smoking technique.

I'm really bummed at this point to say the least.

You let it dry in front of the fan for about an hour? Dude I put my DMT in front of a fan for 2 days then I scrape it up and let is dry without the fan for another 2 days. Your DMT looks good. I would re-x.........

I would acid test your naphtha using white vinegar.

Wouldn't that oxidize your spice though? I've had some oxidize and to me I think it diminishes the potency to an extent and changes the journey.

I did some digging on the web last night and read some forums about people hitting a sort of brick wall with dmt after some time. Dark and twisted trip reports, dull and almost none existent visuals and heavy body loads. Most I've read though have either quit all together or pushed through it and started seeing the beautiful effects of deemers again.

I have a lot of respect for the deem. It's a special experience every time and blows me away with what I'm allowed to see. About a month ago on my last good trip I broke through while on two doses of Lucy. I entered this huge space with alien like entities throwing what seemed to be complex math equations at me. I felt they were hugging me and filled me with a huge sense of love and safety. The after glow was amazing and lasted for a long time.

I'm just blabbing now, sorry. I have 4 more glass pans to scrape, two more pulls to put in and my re-x to filter. I'll report back soon. Thank you all for your insights and concerns.

The outcome of this 150g batch of MHRB The top and middle container is Cybs ATB salt tek.... the top one was re-x'd. The bottom container is STB. All equaling 1.83g's with one more dish still in the freezer. I lost a little on the re-x but that's exspected. I may re-x the yellow but I haven't decided.

As far as this journey block with the spice I decided to wrap it in aluminum foil and store them away in the fridge for a later date. Maybe after some time passes I will be more receptive to the greater effects rather than these weird dark trips I've been having.

I don't have any experience with mimosa, I'm in the usa and got on the bus post-embargo (or whatever it is). Therefore I can't subjectively compare the effects of the two, but I've always used acacia, and the inclusion of NMT in that plant supposedly gives a marked difference in effects, especially with body load. (again, this is only conjecture based on other's reports on my part, not backed by personal experience).

Possibly you are working with that plant? It's happened that packages get mislabeled. From pictures I've of shredded material, while ACRB doesn't seem to appear quite as pinkish-red, they look very similar in powdered form. However, your yield seems to be more in line with MHRB.

Now that you've re-xed, I'd bet your product is just fine. It sounds like you used good practices and procedures, a tried & true TEK, and are being responsibly cautious, which is all mighty swell.

Check your other thread. Your anti depressants block the effects of the DMT.
