2 Ehrlich Tests, 2 different results Options

Tested some L, with one Ehrlich test, a kind that you pop a glass top and insert a ball from the cap and then put the sample in, no color change. Tried a different test, put a drop of Ehrlich in a small porcelain bowl, with a piece of regular paper in the other bowl, turned a deep beautiful purple. The regular paper, no color.

I wonder what could be happening, 2 different tests, both for L, 1 shows no color, the other a beautiful purple?

Any one else have this problem?

Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.

Someone else can probably explain this better, but from my understanding the EZ ehlrich test that requires you to break the glass is modified to react specifically to LSD. Other standard ehlrich tests are designed to react in the presence of indoles, and therefore could indicate a number of other possible substances besides LSD.

If you have other reagents, I would recommend doing some other tests to cross reference and eliminate the possibility of unwanted substances such as NBOME's. If the EZ-test didn't react though, I'd be wary.

In my understanding the EZ ehrlich Test is just a standart ehrlich Test .

Edit: ok , that was too simple , it seems like there is a improved hallucinogen reagent available .
Maybe your Ez Test was too old ?

Are you certain both your erlichs reagents are the same formulation?

This might be of a little help.

You may have to do a little more research but the link provided is at least a starting point.

Id send to energy control's international testing service to be sure, or get yet another ehrlich. If it reacts pink with ehrlich it wont be any other dangerous thing, the main worries are DO(x) and 25(x)-nbome's none of which react with ehrlich. Maybe one of your reagents were expired?
