After weeks of trying with no success I finally had my first vaporized breakthrough. The experience was vividly visual and intense as expected. When I regained control of my body I took a picture of my eyes to see if they were still dilated. Instead, my pupils were star shaped rather than round. Unsure if i was just tripping and imagining it I took another picture to compare to 30 minutes after the first and they were indeed irregular shaped. After searching for answers I haven't yet found anyone else who had experienced this and was wondering if any of y'all had?

starrey eyed huh? how about uploading it so we can see to make sure that you just don't permanently see your pupils as triangular ever since smoking dmt? hehe

Not sure if you know but with concussions they do pupil tests for irregularities. Pupils are an indication of brain trauma but I doubt the DMT could cause changes like that. You could try again and record it and if it is truly there then show a doctor the video. Any other negative effects you have feeling?

Ehhh I'd say you were either still tripping or it's a very strange condition. DMT doesn't cause pupils to change shape.

It's an illusion, the iris cannot change the shape of its aperture. Come on. You happened to inspect your eye while under the influence of a drug that effects pupil size regulation, and it is hard to discern the difference between the opening and dark irregular coloration along the inside of your pupil.

Sure it's cool, but not some crazy physical effect of DMT. Have you ever seen how David Bowie (RIP, ) has different colored eyes? He really doesn't (didn't), he was hit in the eye with a stick by his brother when he was a child, effectively permanently dilating it. The coloration appears different because you can only see the rim of one.

Eyes are beautiful, amazing, cool structures, highly evolved and specialized in function. They aren't just going to go all wonky like that. I've had similar observations on drugs though, one on ecstacy, I thought my pupils were vastly different sizes but i was just really really high and hallucinating.

Not to mention a shaking hand while tripping. And a low resolution camera.
