Mimosa(Jurema) Cold Water Extraction (CWE) with MAOI Options

How does a cold-water-extracted mimosa brew compare to a cooked brew in strength and feel?

Is the CWE method efficient? Are any desirable actives left behind in using this method?

If so, do you use acids in such an extraction for optimal efficiency?

I heard someone on this post: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=23346

,say that the cwe method (with maoi) resulted in an experience more "visionary" than "visual"....do you find this to be the case? Does this imply a reduction in visuals, or simply an increase in visionary power?

If the latter is true, and the CWE method is indeed more efficient, better tasting, and easier to do than the cooking method, are there any upsides at all to cooking mimosa? Why not simply stick to CWE every time?

I would do only CWE on powder.
As soon as there are fiber pieces I would opt for boiling to get better into the material.
Of course you can do CWE on finery shredded but you need more time.
Just as you can boil powder, then just 15 - 20 minutes is already enough, 1 wash and there you go.
For boiling and CWE I used to work with pH 3 water phosphoric acid.
Boiling, to me, was less bad taste. YMMV.
Hope this helps, happy trials.

Ah..interesting...

How does the CWE (w/ maoi) brew compare in effect (and power)to the "standard" heat extracted brew (say if both are done with powered starting material)
