Oh, Haha! That number's just off the MSDS. I think it means that if someone orders / purchases 1000lbs or more, then it has to be reported to the feds. No way will SWIM need that much!

Going by Lazyman's tek and 0.5% content, thats enough for just under 6kg of freebase It'll have to be a pretty enormous freezer =/

Going by an A/B tek that would last you a couple of lifetimes.

How about making wood ash lye? It's easy. Pour some boiling water on some wood ash and you get a solution of potassium carbonate which can have a pH of up to 12.
