Hi,
So I have spent the last month collecting info, materials and plant matter so far it's been a lot of fun

. I am not sure of my Identification and the variability of plants so I decided to set up several jars and try extractions on all hopefuls, these are presently at the various stages listed below.
Acacia Longiflora var Sophorae, Twigs/Phyllodes (Pulling and fumarate salts settling)
Acacia Mearnsii, Twigs/Phyllodes (Pulling and fumarate salts settling)
Phalaris Aquatica (Acid Extraction)
Acacia Obtusfolia Phyllodes (Acid Extraction)
Unknown Acacia bark, tree was torn down so thought why not (Ethanol soak)
Upon seeing the fumarate salts from 1st Sophorae pull I got excited and separated, dried, freebased.
(Photo Right) pulled with warm heptane then left at room temperature, poured off excess heptane into jar in fridge.
(Photo Left) pulled with acetone and evaporated
So a couple of questions (sure to be more later

)
1.) The xylene in Sophorae extraction has heavy clouding in a layer sitting just above basic solution, is this significant?
2.) I have never smelt DMT before but both scraped piles are giving off a very distinctive, strong kind of a sweet sickly smell this leads me to believe it is DMT

could it be anything else?
