Best Way to Evaporate Options

Hello! I'm doing a tek and I was curious if their was a way to quickly evaporate ISO Alcohol 70%? Their is a minimal amount of vinegar but from what I've noticed it takes about a hour for about 70ml to evap completely (When its under a fan). I was curious as to if the flash temp (or whatever temperature the fumes catch fire) was the same temp that the solution would evaporate at or is the evaporation temp low enough to use a heating element?

Also interesting thing I heard today from a friend of mine (he's still in high school and I asked him to run this by his chemistry teacher):
The teacher said that you can precipitate things dissolved in a acidic solution with a base that is high enough to neutralize the chemical you wish to precipitate (as to make it fall out). But the way I have been using my tek for freebasing chemicals uses a base, then a acid to "De-fat". Is how does this work? Im very interested and I kno that its all just a change in Ph and what soulubilities (spelled it wrong) the chemicals have under the different Ph levels.
All posts are imaginary and are just examples for me to learn simple to advanced organic chemistry processes.

Flash point and ignition temperature are two separate things.

What's wrong with waiting an hour or two anyhow?

Other ways of speeding up evaporation:

*Increase surface area

*Increase air velocity

*Increase temperature

*Decrease air pressure

A rotary evaporator or a spray drying apparatus would be among the better ways of evaporating a solvent.

As regards your second question, yes a strong enough base will precipitate an alkaloid from water so long as the alkaloidal freebase is not particularly soluble in water. That's a pretty fundamental element of how DMT is extracted. It's not simply a question of the solubilities at various pH's, rather the degree of protonation of the alkaloid concerned.

This kind of information is covered in the wiki.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Ok Cool! Thank You! haha I am new to the nexus so I will look at the wiki!
(Never looked at it before for some reason)

The WIKI is a great place. A lot of useful and pertinent information can be found there. John, as for evaporation, getting 99% ISO would cut down on evaporation time immensely. Even 91% ISO can be found in most Walgreens or Walmarts (depending on where in the world you are of course!).

MG Chemicals sells a 99.9% ISO (designed for use as an electronics cleaner because of it's fast evaporation. Because as we all know, liquid + electronics = malfunctioning electronics!) that I have used on occasion and it evaporates incredibly fast. Hope this helps a bit...
