So I was listening to some of the old greats of standup. And Lenny Bruce starts talking about DMT at a UCLA lecture. Some student asks if he's done LSD.

This was in 1966.

Around the 29:20 mark. I almost shat bricks when he mentioned DMT.

Nowhere near as great, but another reference from about 1966 is from The Fugs first album, the song is "We're the Fugs". The DMT reference is at about 59 seconds.
