Almost 5 grams wax from what appeared to be 125 of ACRB. huh?

Okay, so I know the pic shows some somewhat dirty (as in waxy)spice, this is six pulls evapped with no de fat re-x or backsalt. It is potent, a .04g dose vaped puts one on the edge of breakthru, the tek was the hybrid salt tek (as always, TY to cyb, EW, etc al) performed on allegedly 125g ACRB.

Just so the info is here, 3x freeze thaw cycles:60 ml vinegar+200 ml water with 24 hr soak;30 g salt in 100ML water, then 125 gm lye with 200 ml water to baseify with a 18hour soak and then 6 100ML pulls with naps. Each pull was clear light yellow that clouded profusely.

Btw , the bark came to me in a standard zip sandwich bag size, label led 250g and I extracted on half.

The first two pulls dropped clear shards in solvent at room temp.

I am not complaining, this spice is potent. What could have happened? I know it's spice, and think the bag weight was correct.

I'm confused, your saying 40mg puts you on edge of breakthrough? To me that isnt potent but I cant completely recall your personal experience or devices used.

Either way thats almost a 6% yield which doesn't sound right IMO. I bet if you did a re-x that number would drop significantly.

Really? Hmm, we use a GVG, and IME it's just as potent as any other. Maybe my definition of breakthrough is different. I mean full loss of awareness of consensus reality. On .04mg, I was visited, so I'm happy with that.

I just think the spirit smiled on us and mislabeled a ziplock! The thing that trips me out tho, is that it didn't SEEM like more than 250g. I'm thinking it was a really good close to 2percent yield on 250g of very clean ACRB, not 125 as I thought. And that's still awesome!

Ok, so final yields, and I WILL post pics, but the gods aren't smiling on picture photography atm...and it's NOT near 5, there was some type of residual moisture that wasn't bps that alleviated us of some of the mystery weight upon drying. So....

2.94 is my best guess from some ACRB of unknown weight. It was half of what can fit powdered into a sandwich size ziplock. I thought that was 250, but it must've been 500gr and well, thanks Cyb, couldn't have done it without you! This is by far the best result I've had extracting from acacia c, I'm very very happy, and this will bring many people much light!

EDIT: i weighed the spice initially on a playing card, which I absent mindedly lefti it on for a couple hours, it was later pointed out to me that the card had absorbed some type of moisture that robbed the lie of a little more than a gram of weight. Is DMT hygroscopic? It's been a tad humid up here and maybe it picked up some ambient water? It was NOT bps, that is certain... That "lost"gram is not included in the final yield weight...

I have a trip report from it which I'll write up soon, it has to do with an entity seemingly being scared out of my consciousness by a poorly timed police siren. Even though I was not losing focus, she seemed to.

just took a little more time is all, like a 24 hour acid soak at room temp as opposed to just a couple hours in a hot water bath...

other than that, I just follow Cyb's/EW's salt A/B hybrid....

I forget how much bark I used. But I did cybs tek with limonene & salted out with FASI & yeilded somewhere in the ballpark or 5g crude spice from less than 100g mhrb a while back.

I never thought to try vaping it, figured it was just extremely impure & cleaned up with FASA & base paste convnversions + washing in between conversions until it was ~1.6g white spice.

You have me thinking now, maybe that stuff wasn`t as crude as I initially thought.

I may have to see if I can reproduce that same yeild again in the near future or if it was just a fluke.
