I wish to offer an Amazonian point of view.
1. 'Ayahuasca'? without vine, is NOT Ayahuasca. In the Amazon they are careful to focus on long brewing, and vine heavy content.
2. Ayahuasca should be used in a strict ceremonial manner and even when properly prepared will give you what you need, moreso than what you want.
3. It may take several ceremonies to remove junk and blocks from your body and mind before it really get's visual, and may in some cases 'not seem to work', (although it most certainly is).

Hello Caterpillar. I've read your other post about your bad experiences with shroom experiences, and really ask you to read as much as you can about safe set and setting, and also DOSAGE. This is extremely important!
You seem to be in a rush to experience something that you have very little understanding of. Start small and work up, and take time to integrate. Read up on this stuff! Entheogens aren't necessarily fun either, and i strongly suggest that you sort out in your own mind if your intentions are fun and colours, or deep healing first. True deep healing often isn't fun. You may even want to put off drinking Ayahuasca untill you really have done a lot more research, teacher plants are not to be taken lightly, and this is much more than 'tripping'.
Let me further explain by what i mean: Ayahuasca can Spiritually 'open you up', far more than other Entheogens, and there is a real possability of spiritual posession and other nasties if you don't prepare your sacred space correctly. Basically this means that if you're not careful with what you are doing, you could come out worse than you went in. This is why it is SO important to do research into it before messing about with these Spiritual realms, and often why a Shaman is involved in rituals, having already dieted a whole host of other plants and learnt protective icaros, etc, etc.
I'm not trying to scare you off, but warning you that this isn't something to rush into, or take lightly.
More imaginative mutterings of nonsense from the old elephant!
