...a stainless steel bowl...
Shocked Is not the recipient to extract with!
50 ml Naphta evaporates possible in 6 to 7 hours, it might be gone.
Those fumes are not healthy and can ignite, such stories potentially end in the papers Mad
Positive news: non of the values are gone.

This site provide all and more you need for a solid commitment (studying) out of respect for yourself, or your friends, and the whole scene, no joke.
You can still jump into Cyb tec with what you have.

I don't see what is wrong with stainless steel...unless you mean the fact that a bowl is no good because it has no lid therefore his/her solvent might have evaporated.

Ill think you'll find that your incorrect,

Actually...Jees is totally correct.

You yourself state that you had a bowl (it's immaterial if it was SS or not)
A bowl has no lid...

After about 6-7 hours the solution was poured into a separator vial

Leaving lighter fluid open to the air for 6-7 hours will result in it disappearing.

And also if you wish to correct me can you lead me in the right direction don't just say something is wrong

It is not your place to dictate how members interact with you...you came here not knowing how to extract.

We have a 'No Spoonfeeding' policy here also.

Glass is still your best and safest bet. Metals are prone to corrosion but stainless steel should be fine. Anyway, Jees was speculating that your Naphtha may have evaporated after being set out for too long and not being covered. Naphtha evaporates rather quickly and as Jees pointed out, those vapors are harmful. We are all about harm reduction on this site, by the way.

You could always try another Naphtha pull but don't let it sit for too long and perhaps get a glass jar with a lid for this step as opposed to an open bowl...

Ill think you'll find that your incorrect, your getting confused with aluminum lots of people use stainless steel bowls.
My comment had indeed nothing to do with steel, sorry I had to be more precise on that.
The bowl type was wrong, it let evaporate the naphta as I said.
There are times naphta is evaporated on purpose but then every precaution is taken accordingly, which is not like during extracting.

More to the point can you just answer the question your comment was kinda OT.
With the rectification as said above, all was on topic.

Is what I did by mentioning the Cyb tec.

Taking off on the wrong foot isn't the end of the world.
There's time enough for change, is what we're here for.

Hey all is not lost if you still have the basic solution you can always pull again. Just don't wait so long this time without leaving it sealed.
