would acetone work fine in a a/b tek and would it be good for a frezze precipitate????

no, acetone, like alcohol, is miscible with water so it wont separate like naphtha or similar solvents do.

You cannot freeze precipitate DMT in acetone. You cannot use it for a normal A/B tech because it's soluble in water, but there are ways to make it work for a specialized A/B tech (there are ways to make it insoluble in water).

Acetone has some great extraction uses though. It's great for use with FASA and can be used as the sole extraction solvent, but you need a tech designed for it.
