Nexus brethren, April 2012 was my entry into dmt alternate space. I've been integrating since. Being an "old man"(53y), generally schooled in psychedelia since my open minded adolescence that included relatively temperate use of multiple entheogens(cannibanoids, lsd, mdma, phenethylamines, psilocybin),I have, as an allopath, spent significant years mastering my craft(anesthesiology), never forgetting, but not experiencing, intense mystic release.
2007 found me dangerously depressed. SSRI's did not help. Personal lack of contact with a nexus for entheobotanical guidance was painfully real. Contact with salvia and amanita(easy through i-net) reminded me that phytobotanical ecstasis might be at my doorstep.
Thanks to the Nexus, I recognized that plant teachers were abundant. Possessing a bit of alchemical prowess, but not yet prepared for "extraction", I embarked upon the personal ayahuasca/anahuasca path. The details are not particularly important, however, with guidance from Nexians................ I stepped into the inexplicable void of white light that is DMT. Thankyou!

Excellent Legarto Rey! Happy to hear that the experience of the white light of the void has touched you in a profound manner. It's also very refreshing to me to find fellow nexians who are in my age bracket! Peace to you! Freedom's so hard When we are all bound by laws Etched in the scheme of nature's own hand Unseen by all those who fail In their pursuit of fate

I've just returned from my first journey using my own extraction- only integration is ongoing - I laughed when I read "3 years to integrate " I've a long way to go to get back then ! I'm really glad this forum is here so I can express with fellow travellers what I have seen.

Well if there isn't but a bunch of old fogies on this site! Said with the utmost respect, of course. Welcome to the Nexus, it sounds like you are here for the same reasons as many of us, namely that this site has such a wealth of knowledge and such a wonderful community. Be an adult only when necessary.
