how much will Ph affect my yield Options

Hello again guys!
So I have preformed a few extractions now, mainly using eartwalkers tek. My first few extraction resulted in low yields, like about 0.05% but in the end I put that down to low quality bark. I have since obtained bark that I believed was to be of a superior quality how ever I'm still only getting 1% (using EW tek). was hoping for a little higher yields.

Could this be because of my ph? In the beginning I wasn't using a ph meter, just using the said amount of acid and base as mentioned in the tek.

During my last extraction my ph meter showed up once I was in the clean up stage. I had just added my dmt enriched naptha to the acidified water. After I remove the pre-used yellow naptha I tested the acid water containing the dmt and its ph was about 3.7, the tek calls for 2-3 ph I believe. When I added the said amount of lye to basifiy it sat right on 12ph so I added a little extra for good measure because the tek calls for 12ph+.

Im now wondering if my ph not being lowered enough could have affected my yields?

With my last extraction I got 0.5g white fluff and 0.5 off white waxy stuff.

I still have the original basified soup, would there be a way to re-acidify to and re-baseify to correct ph levels to see if any spice has not been extracted?

Any input would be great!

Because freebase DMT is of naturally high PH it will increase the ph of acidified water some but don't worry the DMT will have dissolved into the water properly and you can always add more slightly more acid to be sure and for the lye as long as the PH is somewhere over 11 its ok but higher is better.

1% is pretty standard IMO unless you have top notch ACRB or something. Also, it could be a mix of outer and inner bark blended together.

Thanks Fathomlessness, I should have taken that into account. Reminds me of when I was an avid fish keeper and adding a piece of drift wood would easily alter the ph of the tank.

Yes I am using ACRB.

One other thing, is there a way to tell when all the dmt has left the dmt enriched naptha and moved in the the acid water in the clean up stage?
