Well those look like crystals to me too, but I've definitely never seen any like that before in my travels. I too would like to know what they came from. It happened where mixed harmala hydrochlorides (+ excessive salt within)were dissolved in little of hot distilled water then pH was(accidentally)lowered to 3.He let it set overnight and following morning he wanted decant and salt it but found crystals instead ILPT tried to repeat but without any success.
