Shanghigher started a wonderful classical music thread. So thanks for that. I wanted to talk a little about music and psychedelics.

The music is alive inside you. It creates emotions and triggers physical responses like shivers down your spine or goosebumps on your skin. You have no choice. It is inside you and when it tapped and comes alive you know it. Instantly shifted. Instantly taken by the sounds in the air.

My music taste is very eclectic. I will listen to classical one moment and death metal the next. I enjoy trippy music. I enjoy rap and r&b. I love the blues. Jazz is really nice. I mean I could say something great about every single genre of music.

Music is a huge part of the setting. Setting of a party or a personal introspected journey with LSD or DMT. The mind dances and sings and everything responds to every note, chord and silences between the notes and chords. It is a universal language.

I would really enjoy hearing what all of you enjoy listening to. Be it in hyperspace or just reading a book. What are you listening to?

I saw Primus, Ministry, NWA and Young Black Teenagers a long time ago. All fours bands played together at the end. The mosh pit was absolutely insane!!

It was a mixed crowd of death metal guys like myself at the time. I had long hair, likely wearing a cannibal corpse tshirt moshing around with guys that liked NWA and never been in a pit before.

The whole show had a great vibe. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Primus is the shizznit!! Thanks for the flashback I had not thought of that for a long time!

Nice! I'm going to see them for the first time next month. They're doing a "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" themed show, which is going to include oompa loompas.Laughing
I plan on dosing a tab of lsd for the show.
