I was wondering if any of you guys have read this book by Wasson, Hofmann and Ruck?

I haven't started reading it yet, but wanted to know if the theory in it has been renounced in any way by new theories?

Ok great, I was planning on reading it next. I hadn't heard of Persephone's Quest, thanks for mentioning it. I saw it gets some pretty good reviews, have just put it on my buying list.

Your in for a treat guys . They'r both realy good books . For me both are on the list of must read books . Both are full of facts and interesting things that inspire to do more reading . When i say people should do research i mean amongst other things that they should read books like those . Real books by real experts full of references .

I picked both up and couldnt put them down untill i'd read them .

Have fun and tell us what you think .

I've got it on hardback Very happy it's a great read! You should accompany it with 'mixing the kykeon'.

I had found Mixing the Kykeon yesterday. Seemed like a very interesting read indeed Smile
Can't wait to get started with it.

I have now read the book and Mixing the Kykeon and have some questions about this.

How can there be debate whether ergine/isoergine is psychedelic? I have never tried Morning Glory seeds myself, but from what I've read and heard it is highly psychedelic.
Did they test it in some other form, or is there something else in Morning Glory seeds that make them psychedelic?

Does anyone know if the synthetic form of LSA causes nausea as well? Since this isn't mentioned in the Greek texts it makes me a bit doubtful.

There must be something we're missing in this whole discussion.
