Hey all, SWIM attempted an A/B extraction of acacia obtusifolia (from a new area not previously tested) using branch bark, twigs, and leaves (approx. 500g altogether). SWIM mistakenly forgot to perform the acidifying step, and boiled the material in water before basifying and pulling with solvent.
There is a very small trace of brown goo which smells just like the goods. By missing the acidifying step, did SWIM screw up the extraction? Or should there be more spice even with just boiling with water?

Yes it needs an acid stage.
