I'm hoping someone can help with a few questions on 10X caapi. My neighbor wanted to make 3 grams of 10X caapi. He boiled down 30 grams of caapi leaves over 3 hours. Strained and filtered the liquid was reduced down to a small amount (150ml) and set a side for a few days. The dried extract was powdered and mixed with 100ml of warm 99% IPA until dissolved. 3 fresh grams of caapi leaf were added and mixed in a small baby food jar. This was set out for a few days with a small fan blowing over the jar. The 10x was completely dry but for good measure, it was allowed to dry an extra 24 hours. The final weight of the finished product doesn't seem right. It weights 10.3 grams. I was obviously expecting it to weight more than 3 grams but 10+ seems high.. That would put it around 3.5 grams for each gram of 10X product. Is this on par for what others have experienced? Does this equate to 10 grams of 10X caapi? any and all help is appreciated!

Powder the 10x caapi and leave it out for a few hours just to be sure all the solvent and water evaporated. You gotta realize that there's 30 grams of plant fats and resins concentrated onto those 3 grams.

I have a new found enjoyment of 10x caapi. The stuffs great. Can't really tell what its doing pharmacologically but its mildly trippy.
