I want to start to take st. john's wort( Hypericum perforatum) daily.
I do want to still take Ayahuasca.
I did see that they worn against using maoi probably for serotonin syndrome, but I was not sure anybody is sure about or that it is just for extra caution. To my understanding it is not SSRI.

I did see a report of someone who was taking 300 mg SJW and took mild Ayahuasca with no problem.
My plan is to take 300 mg SJW in the evenings for some time.
Then take syrian rue alone in the mornings increasing the dosage each time a bit.
If no problem to take Ayahuasca.
Does that make sense?

Why do you want to take the Hypericum perforatum ?

Why do you want to take ayahuasca at the same time ?

What do you mean by ayahuasca ? The DMT containing drink or the plant ?

Have you any reliable sources of informatiuon about the cross effects of those substances when taken together ? The side effects ?

Hypericum perforatum has a reputation for changeing the effects of medicines . Some dont work anymore after taking it .

To my understanding st.jhons wort is a mild SSRI, so it could be a serious risk with an MAOI.

i'd suggest for safety sake stopping use of St.jhons a couple days before taking ayahuasca.

I want to take Hypericum perforatum as anti depressent/ to boost mood.
I want take it daily as people do.

I want to take Ayahuasca because I take Ayahuasca regularly - with DMT, once a week.
I don't know what are the cross effects of those subtances.
The thing is I really feel I want to take both Hypericum perforatum and Ayahuasca.
It actually could be that they can help each other.
and though it might be dangerous, I was thinking, maybe I can test it in increasing dosages.
I assume that if it is just mild SSRI there should not be a problem, especially with this small dosage.
