Just curious how much people here exhaust there bark. I did a second cook on mine with quite a good yield.(should be noted that i started from a kilo of acacia). now onto my third one and have stretched it out over the last few days. ive heard of ppl using bark until ut looks white. Any input?

I seldom get anything from it. Occasionally I'll get a worthwhile second harvest.

I've noticed my bark nearly atomizes in a coffee grinder once its been vac filtered and dried. I'm thinking about saving all of this super fine powder and re-extracting it in bulk, extracting with chloroform just to be certain I've got it all.

I always boil multiple times collecting the liquid into another pan until the primary/plant matter pan gives only clear liquid then boil down the collected pours.

Yeap. Sounds like a plan void. Mines still looking pretty dark to me. And ice, i bet your so efficient on your first cooks that recooks are a waste of time. Thats def not a bad thing lol.

It's quite likely, but nobody can be 100%. Every now and again I'll get a good harvest at a second run. So it's always a good idea to give it a second extraction.. ya never know.

Ended up getting bout a half gram, not a completely pointless run i guess. Getting used to this bark now though. Should be able to bring my efficiency up pretty high now and get most of it out in the first go.

After a while you will just do extractions like making a coffee and will gain a sixth sence of good quality bark and good pulls or cooks and be more accurate then you think .....

Im looking forward to it earthwalker. I feel im starting to get the jist of things. I aim to cloud the hell out of my solvent. The more clouds and ghost i see the better. I like to make em look like skim milk. Lol I find if that happens i must be dealing with some good bark.
I was worried the first time round with acacia. I used half a kilo and got nothing but goo. And the goo melted and dripped away so i literally got nothing. But that was before i saw your tek.(no mini ab)
Im now proceeding to changa. But im making another thread for that. The idea of blasting with one good toke really intrigues me.
