You get more from each pull with warm solvent and soup. I have some crystal clear spice that looks like frost and some darker redder "jungle spice" which contains more oils.
I prefer the darker spice (find it hits harder) so intentionally pull a few oils over.
Lots of folks are just going to be dumping hydroxide in the soup and then following up with naphtha straight after which will easily get the soup over 60c which renders the HDPE unsuitable.
Just because you do something carefully and with knowledge does not mean others will, although HDPE can be used I would not outright recommend it to people.
Borosilicate glass vessel is what I would reccomend to anyone to ignorant to look up material property's themselves. Personally I use a erlenmeyer flask, all glass syringe and magnetic stirrer hot plate.
