I've had a brief look over. Few points:
Overall, it looks like a lot of work has gone into it and it looks well-researched - I can't comment on the details of the theory, because the auto-translation makes it unreadable to be hnoest. It requires a hell of a lot more than "polishing". The automatic translation is, as expected, a total mess and you really do need to sit down with (not exchange emails with) a native English speaker who speaks fluent Italian and is a postdoc at minimum in a biological sciences field - no shortcut in my academic opinion.
There are a number of stylistic issues that result from a lack of experience and will give you away as inexperienced - this will reduce your chances of the paper being accepted.
For example (not to pick holes but just to show you what I mean), the way you refer to other scientists is a little informal and New Scientist

Do we need to know that Julius Axelrod got the Nobel Prize in 1961?
"Bruce McEwen is one of the greatest scholars of the effects of stress on cognition and behavior" He might be, but this is a bit much...
And phrases like:
"Probably in the bone marrow, other sources claim in the cortex" Which sources? Why probably? References needed please.
"There are also a number of compounds - too little studied - of which among the various hypotheses" Who says they're too little studied? Maybe they're just unimportant. You need to qualify opinions like this or leave them out.
These are little things that can be ironed out with the guidance of someone minimally at postdoc level. The bottom line is that review articles are normally written by academics with many years experience - I was only invited to write a review after completing a PhD in the subject I was reviewing and doing postdoc research. What you have here is a review article with a new hypothesis twist. You need to remember that new theories will be strongly critiqued by the referees and so you need to make sure that everything is water tight.
If I were you, I'd be getting into contact with the leading experts in stress responses etc and asking to meet with them to discuss your ideas... you seem to be a fan of this Bruce McEwen guy, so why not get into contact with him?
