He actually says in the beginning (listening to it right now) that schizophrenics usually have auditory hallucinations, and very few have visual hallucinations.. and that this differs from dmt- which is itself very visual. It was sort of hard to hear though and i can see how you could get the impression that he was talking about dmt not being visual and only auditory, instead of schizophrenia.
Not sure if he contradicts this later and says the opposite, but ill edit this post if he does
