I am new to cactus and mescaline. I've taken small doses of mescaline hcl, just to test my sensitivity. the largest dose I took was 50mg of mescaline hcl. Very pleasant energy boost, like amphetamine without the edginess. I had 300mg, but squandered it, taking low doses, due to the lack of time and the proper setting for a psychedelic experience. Coming up soon I have a day with no work and the house to myself. Here's the problem: I only have 100 mg of hcl left. 1 lb. of San Pedro cactus, minus the core in the freezer and an 8 oz. Fresh piece. I have plenty of powder that I want to save for an extraction, that I don't have the time to do properly (my work schedule is keeping me busy and away from home).
I want to have a psychedelic experience, but not so strong that I end up as a pile of fizzing molecules on my kitchen floor. I'd like the experience to be strong enough to have some visuals, but I'm really after a meaningful, healing experience, a light show isn't that important to me, unless I have to be at that level to have a relatively deep experience.

I'm considering doing a house resin tek, or a reduced tea from the frozen and fresh cactus, and combining it with the 100 mg of hcl. I have read that working with powder to make a tea is a real hassle. I don't mind dipping into the powder if it's necessary, but I'm not sure of the best approach.

from my reading and talking to friends, I Suppose I'm looking for the equivalent of a 250 mg hcl dose, or what seems to be referred to as a "common" or medium dose. I have the feeling that I may be asking a question that is impossible to answer, but thought I'd try anyway. with what I have on hand, what would you experienced mescaline/cactus user do?
