Source?

NMT N-oxide doesn´t exist. And I don´t think there has been a single publication to show DMT N-oxide in acacia confusa, and my tests did not show it either.

Hey Arcologist:

Using Xylene is interesting: It pulls hard and fast. After three pulls on 500g ACRB, there was nothing left!

And the amount of NMT that was extracted was impressive, certainly more than 50% of total alkaloids.

Next time around, I'm going to save all the NMT and pull it out of it carbamatic prison, and perhaps make up a 'naturalized' blend as per the tree's original ratio (55/45? NMT/DMT)?

The only drawbacks with using xylene as the NP solvent are: smell, increased flammability, and
DMT yield in fumarate.

Of course one could do a couple naphtha pulls first, then a couple xylene pulls, and you would have the best of both- DMT freebase and DMT fumarate...

As usual, dry ice treatment prior to freeze precipitate or FASA!

..mentioned briefly a couple of times in etheogenic effects of nmt
Quote:
There is no NMT-N-oxide. N-Oxides can only be formed from tertiary amines, and NMT is a secondary amine. There may be N-hydroxy-N-methyltryptamine, but I have no information regarding it's formation. I have been told: "In the case of NMT, oxidation and cyclization would give 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-beta-carboline."

(neither of these two products is known from A.confusa)

Nen that's awesome of you, but I must confess I need to learn to read. I read that as DMT not NMT *embarrassed smiley*.
