I just googled Buddha Box, that sounds pretty neat.

My favorite things to play with are my flutes, guitars, drums, etc.

Heart rate monitors.

Not only are a they fun to play with, they are also very reassuring for the concerned tripper who thinks they are gonna die.

Silly Putty. Always, Silly Putty.
Otherwise: bouncy balls, kaleidoscopes, and this incredible thingamajig that projects rainbow-colored waves onto my ceiling. That was a fantastic investment. Makes me feel like I'm underwater.

Was cleaning my place out once on 4g mush

Rubbing my finger thru a soon to be tossed bowl of sodium carbonate sent my spine into shudders of pleasure Neutral

Kaleidoscopes and guitar effects pedals.. Turn up the volume and distortion, wait for feedback and start morphing the waves

I once plugged my acoustic guitar into my pedal board while candyflipped out and was shooting beams thru my friends third eye, he saw it too. Put the bass all the way up, scraping the strings with metal wires and coins, and bending the neck backwards to raise the feedbacks pitch

It was amazing Laughing

A bit of a thread resuscitation but I just got hold of this fun little hand held analogue synth by Korg today. It's called a monotron delay and is a great little noise maker. I got it to add spacey noises and drones to my recordings and found it is just plain fun to lose yourself in its trippy self oscillations and drones. It has a built in speaker for convenience but the real fun is hooking it to a good set of speakers or headphones because you can go all the way from note beating drones to super intense, breaking into DMT hyperspace high end noises.

I gave it a whirl on the afterglow of a smoked salvia session just before and the wild space noises and controlling of envelopes and oscillations was amazing in the still besaged state.

Anyway, here is a little youtube video of it in action, you don't need to be a musician or have any sense of musical skill at all to have fun on this thing:

That looks like way too much fun!

For me, nothing beats the simplicity (and potential complexity) of contact poi. Flow toys in general (hula hoops, staff, double staff, toroflux etc.) are insanely captivating while dosed. Plus, they're a great way to make new friends Very happy

You get it Wink I also love playing fire but I find that's best kept for special occasions.

Haven't tried it myself, but I'd imagine a laser pointer would be fun to play with. One of those laser projectors would be cool too!

Also, I've heard good things about bikes (be careful though).

Balloons! 99 of the luft variety. But seriously, a few blown up water balloons are awesome. I especially like to get them charged with static electricity and watch the sparks with the lights out. This also works with clothing, but isn't quite as satisfying for me.

Glow in the dark things are also cool with the lights out.

Other than that, I usually don't get around to playing with stuff. I either just get lost in music or I'm hiking in the woods when I trip.

Tibetan singing bowls are awesome. A few of my friends have them. I've seen people pick them up for the first time and become instantly enchanted by them.

Some people can really make them sing.

The real magic happens when there are several people playing them in close proximity to each other. Sometimes two bowls will oscillate separately and then slowly the oscillations come into sync, which seems increase the amplitude of the tones much higher than one bowl go could by itself. If you are in the zone where the oscillations become resonant it's pure bliss.

Psilocybin in the bain, with a fire and tunes playing is my idea of heaven. Humans have a deep spiritual connection to fire, and never is it more evident than while in a psychedelic state of mind.
Be an adult only when necessary.
