Reminds me of the old saying, if something aint broke, dont fix it.
Well, SWIM was using the following method and getting fairly good results, besides bitching from a compadre about yield and fumerate ( i swear of he says those words again i'm likely to kick him out of swim'S flat).
Anyways, been using Dylon mimosa. I dont know if aanyone has anymore details on the type of dylon which is Mimosa Hostillis. Anyways the site says mimosa, the bags we recieved had Dylon written on them.
So i bout some actual shredded root bark. The problem seems to be grinding it, i'm using a vitamix blender, and i get a very fine brown poweder allong with a fiberous material. This seems to be causing problems with the solution as it's now too thick.
So i put some gloves on and have removed/strained most of the white fiberous material, and have been left with a ruddy brown mixture.
Now before i add the lye, how do i know how much to add now that i have an unknown measurement in the mixture.
Thanks,

MERGED Ok, this might get some better answers.
Problem is grinding bark.
I have a vitamix 4000.
When i grind it dry it leaves a white fluffy fiberous material and a brown power. This messes up the next step as the mixtures too thick.
If i blend it wet i get a frappe, which also doesn't fit in the bottle. It's kinda degassing in a bucket right now.

ok, estimating the mix to contain 150gms, skimming off the frappe scum and using remaining liquid. If i'm unwittingly about to unleash the 70 souls of the copper crucible let me know. otherwise, i'm going in.

Please ask coherent questions if you want decent answers. Dicyphering this strangeness is headache inducing. Please do not PM tek related questions Reserve the right to change your mind at any given moment.

I think your statement poses more questions than answers. I guess it's because a freind of mine has shown me how to do everything that i'm unable to describe the process i'm attempting. I guess i asume everyone is doing the same thing as me. Never mind. I tink from my searches a coffie grinder might be the answer.

Too thick? Add a little more water... Though it is very hard to determine if that's actually the question you are asking. Please rephrase your questions so that they are easier to comprehend. What do you mean when you say "Dylon mimosa"? Are you referring to the British textile dye company? Because I'm like 99% positive that none of their products contain Mimosa hostilis rootbark... But before you do anything, please edit your first post and remove all mention of buying, ordering, "the site", etc. Then please read The Attitude Page. The Attitude Page wrote:No discussion on selling, buying, sourcing, acquiring, pricing, trading, mentioning pending deliveries or smuggling of drugs This includes all isolated psychedelic compounds and RCs (Research Chemicals), whether they are legal or not. The only goods allowed to be discussed are legal live plants, legal viable seeds (both in the Sustainable plant and seed suppliers subforum) and legal/unwatched chemical supplies. See Street Value of DMT (AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EVER SELL DMT AND OTHER PSYCHEDELICS) for good reasons why we don't allow this.
