So I dont know if anybody has addressed this, but is the luminescence of Syrian Rue extracts under blacklight sign of purity? A friend of mine recently tried his hand at extracting harmala alks from Rue. Now this was his first attempt extracting anything so I was quiet skeptical when he showed me 0.2 grams of a dry waxy bright yellow/orange substance that was opaque but had a slight shimmer. After I expressed my doubt he turned on his blacklight and the thing just lit up with a dull orange glow, it tasted bitter/kinda soapy and was active from what I was told. Now I'm wondering what this junk really is as most pics I've seen of Rue extracts dont glow under blacklight.

Anybody got similar results or any info?Thumbs up

dull orange seems a strange color for the glow, which in my experience is blue to green, at least in solution, I do not know about as an extract.

But yes, harmala alkaloids are strongly fluorescent

You have to see the sign of the substance in solution, not the shine of the powdered substance.

An orange color does not seem right for the glow once placed under a black light. In my experience it has always glowed a very bright blue/green. I have only tested that while its in solution though, not the final product once dry.

It was interesting to see how everything that came into contact with the solution glowed though, even my hands glowed like I was radioactive! I accidentally spilled some of the solution on me during the boiling process of the seeds. So nothing harmful was introduced to my skin at that point since nothing but water, seeds, and vinegar had been used at that point.
Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.
