does anybody have some scientific insight on this for me?
I used to take LSD very regularly but I wasn't on propranolol at the time. I've recently got my hands on some LSD for old times sake and I decided to check up on my medication and the possible interactions with LSD. I found out that propranolol has some risk when taken with ergot alkaloids, in that it causes vasoconstriction. This doesn't sound good.
I was wondering though if this would be cause for concern at such a small dose? I take 10mg 3 times a day. I discovered recently that this a relatively small dose and I don't know if this means that it's nothing to worry about or whether the two should just simply not mix.
I'm already very nervous about taking LSD again because my gastric problems are pretty full blown at the moment and without any kind of real diagnosis I'm already paranoid as it is and I'm not sure I'd want that extra worry hanging over my head.
I would possibly consider laying off the propranolol if it meant it was a risk to not lay off it, it's just I suffer terribly with physical feelings of anxeity and I suspect that my gastric problems are the source but as I said, it's hard to have a good idea of what's going on without a diagnosis.
But all of that is beside the point, I'd really just like some knowledgeable insight into this matter if anybody has any experience in the field that they could share.

Well I used to take 80mg daily and Ive taken LSD while on it albeit maybe 10hrs after an 80mg SR dose.but Ive also taken 80mg SR during as it wa getting way too manic. I found no ill feeling just less of a rush with no flighty hyper thoughts that LSD can catalyse due to the adrenaline being stopped/reduced.
However the next morning the come down was very tetchy so I took another 80mg and it completely remedied the anxiety/sensory burnout. So in short you more than likely will be have no problems especially at that dose but everyone is different..Its actually been used as a lifesaver for stimulant overdose before.
I would be more concerned it doesnt flare up your gastric problem and to be honest taking acid while in an anxious period in life is a risky one it could easily go bad and hve the anxious feelings amplified to a severe level..Although it could also help but be prepared for a rough ride.
