Well I'm getting four ounces, or about 100 grams. Divied up into thirds, it should be plenty for three people. Plus I have the better part of 100 grams of the acacia left after a mildly successful extraction of a few tablespoons' worth straight to base with some Ronsonol. Just scraping a pinky nail's worth of that highly basic ugly red oily goo (that made my lungs, lips and tongue burn like I just inhaled vaporized lye, which was likely the case) sent me into fractal world for about ten minutes... People are right when they say it feels like forever lasts a few seconds on DMT. I'd hate to wrap my head around a good breakthrough's timeline. I didn't breakthrough, but I got to "Alex Grey painting" level. So I know that acacia is pretty potent. I'd say 1 1/2, maybe 2 tbsp per person, if you're brave (and I am) should be more than enough acacia. I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Then there’s a pair of us! Needless to say, I'm very excited to have my first aya experience, and best yet, since it's at my own hands I can incant and sing to it and have a chat with the brew as it boils for my sins, so to speak. I want a very personal and custom-tailored experience. To anyone else, it would look vaguely schizophrenic, but to anyone who's done DMT, you know there's something in there that longs to hold a conversation with your soul. I’m Nobody! Who are you? yes, I hope your experience is as great and fulfilling as my first successful brew..it was simply amazing. Sing to it, yes! lol. I don't chant when I'm brewing, but I occasionally stir it gently and think of it lovingly. My question was about the ground caapi, as I've never used it. If I read your post correctly..you are planning on using about 33 grams per dose? The Acacia...I used two healthy tablespoons for one dose and it was plenty for me, though I plan on increasing that amount, soon

I read that 50-100 grams is a preferred single person dose, so it might not be as effective as I like. But I'll be using it to pre-dose and I don't doubt that will make a difference on how much you really need to get where you're going. It's not hard to find by the way, the aya. If you found a. confusa, it's likely that you'll find the aya in the same place. It's forbidden to source here, but I'm pretty sure you can guess where I may have ordered from if I said it's easy I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Then there’s a pair of us! Well the package said it would be here today but nothing in the mail still. So probably tomorrow, I'll begin brewing in the early evening, as soon as the package arrives. I wish these were things you could just go to a store and pick up. I guess my buddy is coming over with some naphtha tonight. I'll use that to get more of the stuff out of my base solution. I tend to keep all my reagents as long as possible and I abhore wastefulness. If I think I can get more out of something, I will run it dry. Reducing naphtha isn't as difficult as one might think, in a short period of time. I started a STB and ended up with (barely)smokable goo in under 7 hours. Terribly inefficient process, though, with a terrible, but functional yield. I wouldn't impose it on anyone else, but I didn't mind taking a few rips of it to test it over several hours. To quickly reduce naphtha, just stick it in a toaster oven on about 150 for about an hour. My mistake was actually getting some of the base liquid in the final evap. I work with empty whiskey bottles, zip-locs, and mason jars, and baby food jars... Not exactly pyrex chemistry equipment, but it gets the job done. I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Okay so far, making the vine with powder has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. The powder is literally so fine that it creates an impossible-to-filter silt. I suppose we're just going to have to drink the actual water with the sediment in it. The root bark went quite smoothly though. Another absolutely disasterous thing happened, which I think WAS mitigated... I had a pyrex pie dish with pure dmt/naphtha cooking. It was almost entirely reduced to DMT oil, then I decided that it was a good idea to place the round dish over the round pot, and needless to say, circles mix well with circles. The dish fell into the pot, splashing caapi water everywhere and some of the water came into the pyrex plate. Luckily DMT is completely insoluble in water, so I just got some more water, some more naphtha ran it over the pie dish again, amidst a cacophony of screaming infants and her trying to help and only frustrating me further.... So yeah... Hopefully my quick actions averted the crisis well enough, but I don't know how the DMT is going to respond to having some caapi in it. Maybe I just completely accidentally discovered a way to make ayahuasca crystals o.O. In short, fuck my life. I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Then there’s a pair of us! I used this method from Erowid and it worked well for me. The only thing I did differently was that I did not grind the Rue seeds. This report did not specify but I did each boil for 30 minutes. Source: https://www.erowid.org/e...iences/exp.php?ID=85507
ACACIA PREPARATION The dried acacia root bark has been ground into a (fibrous) powder. 3 tablespoons of the powder have been steeped in 3 washes of boiling water (no traditional ayahuasca-style cooking, and no evaporation). The liquid was filtered, the residual plant material was discarded. SYRIAN RUE PREPARATION About 1/2 tablespoon of whole dried rue seeds have been ground to coarse powder and steeped in 3 washes of boiling water (no cooking, no evaporation). The liquid was filtered, the residual plant material was discarded.

Well after a lot of toil, trouble, fire-burn and cauldron bubble, this ayahuasca analogue was pretty much a failure to launch. I pretty much washed down the vine powder with the water I originally simmered it in, which really was not that bad at all, to be honest. I expected it to taste a lot worse. So all said and done, I simmered the root bark powder in water with a small toss-in of citric acid, which was a very rich final product after two simmers for probably an hour and a half each. My failure to launch was probably due to the time it took me to choke down the rather revolting caapi-water, which tasted like watered-down dark chocolate. I drank the root-bark water a few minutes after drinking the previous sludge, which finally pushed me to the point of vomiting shortly thereafter. I definitely felt past baseline for a couple hours, but nothing really worth talking about. It was mostly introspective and sounds and light were more intense and any sudden light dazzled me. I was pretty much empty-headed. No insights or revelations, but I didn't feel bad as the gears started to wind down. All in all, it was a Shulgin (+). I could do anything I wanted with little or no impairment except respond to my ultimately unnecessary trip-sitter without having to let his words bounce around in my head until they met something meaningful. I severely discourage the use of powdered vine. If you're going to use it, then man the fuck up and basically eat it, or don't bother with it. Won't be trying this method again. Not worth the time and effort I put into it. FOR SCIENCE! I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Then there’s a pair of us! Don’t tell! they’d advertise – you know! I am the Walrus. I'd recommend giving it another shot at some point! I can't help with the caapi, because I use rue, but I do have some advice on the ACRB tea. Don't rush the filtering. You want to end up with a very clear liquid. By clear, I mean no plant material; obviously there will be a red color. Before reducing the final product, it should look like pure water with red food coloring, to give you an example. IME, if I rush the filtering and take in the silt, I purge much too soon and then, yes, the time spent is wasted...Strange that you posted this today, because I had a similar experience last night. I rushed the process, rushed the filtering and purged too soon. I know better!

Well by the time I had gotten to drinking it, I took a cut off the top, and the sediment was still at the bottom. I feel like I should have kept drinking because I had a lot more to drink, and I could have kept mixing it with the caapi sludge which was so much easier to keep down. I'm definitely giving this another try soon, but I took the lessons and decided to get shredded vine and chakruna next time for a legit experience. Ill stick to using acrb for spice. I’m Nobody!
