A very brave friend Options

This last few months have been very interesting to me.
First of all I finally got my hands on DMT after a 14 year wait and experimented with that during April and May. Then I felt I needed a break from psych's for a while.
Then in late August I successfully extracted DMT of varying quality and further experimented with that, which led to my first 4 breakthroughs (I didn't realise I hadn't been breaking through before, but when I did I KNEW).
Anyway so we ran out of that and I decided to have another little break and before I knew it, it was shroom season here in the UK. The best season I've ever had the pleasure to get involved in. It was very productive and the yields were fantastic.
Unfortunately I got ill during the first week and only managed to have one mild trip just before. I remained ill during the rest of the season and I'm still not fully back on form even now.
I managed to save a few hundred for myself over the coming months but in the meantime my housemates decided to trip quite regularly and I was the sitter. I did manage to get a second experience about a week ago once the illness subsided.
Anyway, enough about me.
My friend has had several trips on shrooms during the season and has been testing the water and upping the dose. He's had some real good experiences and he gets the spiritual aspect of it, which I'm really pleased about because too often that is overlooked by people. I'm happy to welcome him to our world Smile
Anyway, a few nights ago he took 80 dried shrooms and was feeling it pretty strongly, it was the strongest trip for him yet. Anyway, once he reached the peak he decided to hit the DMT (some really shiny, glass like fluffy crystals so I'm assuming pure).
He took a couple of hits and lay back. He smiled the entire time and giggled a little and when he opened his eyes he was like "DUDE'S, I WAS SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHAT WAS THAT THING I SAW"? And I told him I'm yet to figure that out.
He explained that he was ejected from the room, forced to close his eyes because everyone in the room disappeared, and all the elements of the room just became blank, like a room made of pure light. He closed his eyes and he could still see the room of light, then the laser light show began. He said he saw impossible shapes and Escher-like staircases but not etc.
He didn't see any entities (not until last night when he broke through and asked me what the ticking is all about...I get that too, everything ticks in a breakthrough).
He said the shroom/DMT trip was easy from beginning to end, the worst he felt was leading up to doing it, once he took the hits he felt no anxiety, fear, panic, nothing. On just DMT I normally have a little bit of anxiety as I lift off but that is taken away from me very quickly.
I'm very proud of him, especially being a nervous, paranoid person by nature, he really stepped outside his comfort zone and took a leap of faith.
Just thought I'd share that with you guys.
I'll share my experience when I decide to do the same thing.

Good to hear about your friend. It is always a step into the unknown. I myself have not had that many experiences with dmt, but I know I always tremble before smoking.

Good journeys to you and your friend. It's really great to have someone who you can trust and who is on the same wavelength when it comes to psychedelics. Cherish each other.
